Posted October 10th, 2019 -Attendees of major school events may have noticed how we are now providing heightened security.

This decision was made in light of recent national tragedies.

Doing so has included contracting daytime security staff for after-hours work, and greater visibility of Cañon City Police officers as well.

Students Sign Beam in new CCMS Building

Students had the opportunity to sign the beam, making it a memorable experience for all involved. Fremont County Workplace Learning Board

Posted October 7th, 2019 - Recently the Fremont County Workplace Learning Board met. We are excited about Florence High School's growing engagement in the program. We're on track to have 97 students complete 200 total internships, with 110 business partners offering such opportunities.
