This is a summary of the weekly events from Harrison School.
Good afternoon, Harrison families! This is your weekly update from Mrs. Autobee. I want to congratulate our football team for winning the league championship on Saturday afternoon. What a great way to celebrate the sportsmanship of the Hawk athletes this fall! We are very proud of you and the way you represented the school on and off the field!
On Monday, representatives from Google will present an multimedia online safety show for our middle school students at 1:00 in the middle school gymnasium.
On Tuesday, drama club will meet after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in the commons area.
Wednesday is Task Force Work Day. School will begin two hours later, and breakfast will NOT be served. Please do not drop your students off early, as staff is at other locations and are not available to supervise students until the assigned times.
On Friday, elementary students do not have school, but middle school students do. Elementary staff will be attending professional development. If the weather permits, Kona Ice will be at Harrison at the end of the day on Friday.
Looking ahead to the following week, the school will be closed on Monday, October 16th, and Tuesday, October 17th. We will resume our normal schedule on Wednesday, October 18th.
Kindergarten will take a field trip on October 20th to Diana’s Pumpkin Patch.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 23rd, and Tuesday, October 24th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Thank you for your continued support of Harrison School. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
