Using Technology has become a critical component of our day-to-day lives. Knowing this, we strive to provide up to date, high quality technology and technology services for our students and staff.
Canon City Schools IT Department consists of six wonderful individuals. Each person in the IT Department is very dedicated, compassionate, and driven to enhance and support the district's educational technology initiatives.
Technology is not only about computers and the Internet. Technology is about people and building relationships to help them to learn and become successful using technology as a tool for their success. Most importantly, for us, it is about students and giving them the best education possible and the tools they need to succeed.

Director of Technology
Job Duties: Oversees and manages the IT department. IT Project planning, development, and implementation. IT budgeting, purchasing, and procurement. Systems management.
IT Administrative Asst.
Job Duties: Maintain, record, and update files of students (current and former), prepare transcripts, infinite campus.
IT Systems Manager
Job Duties: Backend systems administration, network administration, telephone services, supervise Technology Specialists, Photoshop model
SIS (Student Information System) Coordinator and Webmaster
Job Duties: Infinite Campus, State Reporting, Webmaster, Destiny Admin, Tech Tip Master
Classroom systems integration and provisioning.
Job Duties: Chromebook Maintenance & Repair.

Instructional Technology Department
Instructional Technology Coordinator
Job Duties: Coordinating the planning, creation, and implementation of professional development centered around Blended Learning and appropriate Technology integration in the classroom. Assisting with supporting secondary teachers with planning and using effective technology tools in lessons with their students. Supporting and guiding Elementary Technologists within each of their individual buildings. Supporting the C&A department in assessing, implementing, and maintaining Curriculum resources throughout the district.
Secondary Instructional Technology Coach
Job Duties: Assisting and supporting secondary teachers with planning and using effective technological tools in their lessons and with students. Providing Professional Development for new instructional tech apps and programs.
