Online Registration opens July 15-26th, 2024 for the 24-25 School Year

What is Online Registration?

Online Registration is the application process where up-to-date information is collected on your household, family members and all students enrolling into the 24-25 school year.

Please select one of the following options:

Option 1 Existing Students - Register using Campus Portal

If you have a Campus Portal account and need to register a new student or an existing student, please use option 1.

  • Required documents: Proof of Residency, this is required for all students K-12th grade.
  • Preschool: If you are enrolling a preschool student at McKinley Preschool or Mountain View Preschool, you can add them in this application with your other children.

For students who were not enrolled in Canon City Schools the previous school year.

Required documents for new students:

  • Birth Certificates are required to enroll into Canon City Schools. Please bring a copy of New Student Birth Certificates to the school.
  • Proof of Residency, this is required for all students K-12th grade.
  • Preschool: If you are enrolling a preschool student at McKinley Preschool or Mountain View Preschool, you can add them in this application with your other children. 

On-Site Registration:

What is On-Site Registration?  After completing the mandatory online registration for the 2024-25 school year, you may attend on-site registration to address any questions or submit necessary paperwork. Please note that you must finish the online registration process before visiting the school for any in-person registration inquiries.

On-Site Registration is optional for all new and returning students and allows parents/guardians to get visit the school for the following needs:

  • Registration questions
  • School form collection
  • Athletics and activity sign-ups
  • Concurrent enrollment
  • Locker assignments
  • Schedule distribution
  • Building tours
  • Other general inquiries

Where? at your neighborhood school or the school in which your child is enrolled.

On-Site Registration July 30th - August 1, 2024 

  1. TUESDAY, July 30th, 2024 - 8:00AM to 3:00PM (STAFF SET UP AND ARRIVE AT 7:00 AM)
  2. WEDNESDAY, July 31st, 2024 - 9:00AM to 5:00PM
  3. THURSDAY, August 1st, 2024 - 11:00AM to 7:00PM
