Student Chromebook Usage: How to Care for your Chromebook

  • Handle with Care: Always carry your Chromebook with two hands, especially when moving between classes or home. Avoid dropping or bumping it.
  • Cleanliness Matters: Keep food and drinks away from your Chromebook. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the screen and keyboard regularly.
  • Safe Storage: When not in use, store your Chromebook in a safe place, such as your assigned locker, backpack, or charging cart. Ensure it's not in a position where it can fall or be stepped on.
  • Charging Habits: Charge your Chromebook fully each night so it's ready for use the next day. Use only the charger provided by the school.
  • Report Issues: If your Chromebook isn't working correctly, has a cracked screen, or any other damage, report it immediately to your teacher or the designated tech support. Don't try to fix it yourself!
  • Personal Responsibility: Remember, this is your learning tool. Treating it with respect helps ensure everyone has access to working technology.

We greatly appreciate your help in keeping our devices operational for as long as we can.
