We are open.

Our hours are as follows:

• Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
• Arrangements to drop items off during lunch can be made. Call ahead.
• On the following Fridays, 9:00- 11:00 a.m. (11/13, 12/4, 12/18)
• We will be closed for Thanksgiving (11/23-11/27) and Christmas break (12/23/2020-1/5/2021)

Please do not leave electronic items when no one is present to receive them. Every electronic item must be documented. We are wearing masks. We are asking that our customers do likewise. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tiger Recycling is located at 1025 N. 12th Street (corner of 12th and Forest Ave.). We are in the north end of the new building just west of the high school. Our phone number is (719) 276-5870 (Extension- 5836). It is best to call ahead to have items recycled.

Tiger Recycling creates work experience and employment opportunities for students with disabilities. This business within the high school provides opportunities to learn skills related to disassembling electronics and sorting parts. Plus, recycling electronics helps protect our environment. We promote the practice of reducing, reusing, re-purposing, and recycling.

Tiger Recycling can recycle anything that you can plug into an electrical outlet except refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners. For most items we charge 30 cents per pound. For old style TVs and computer monitors (CRTs) we charge 60 cents per pound. We will recycle your computer for free.
