Raider Team

The Raider team is a group of CCHS JROTC cadets that compete in physical fitness, adventure themed events, and competitions with other JROTCs throughout Colorado. The Raider team practices twice a week after school, and there are two Raider classes per school year that cadets can take as part of their block schedules. This class is open to all JROTC cadets. Raiders train and practice events such as:

  • One Rope Bridge
  • Cross Country Runs
  • 5K Team Run
  • Gauntlet
  • Obstacle Course (O-Course)
  • Physical Fitness Events 
  • Obstacle Courses
  • Marksmanship with Air Rifles
  • Archery

The purpose of Raiders is to challenge you and provide opportunites to:

  • Improve your Physical Fitness
  • Develop your Leadership Potential
  • Strengthen your Self Esteem
  • Provide Incentives to Live Drug Free
  • Sharpen your Communication Skills

Raider Practice Information

Raider practice takes place every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:45pm until 5:00pm. The team meets in the JROTC right after school.
