Important Message! 2 Hour Delay for Tuesday 1/31/23 -

Dear Families,

As you surely know, we’re still going to be in the midst of very cold temps in the morning.  Different from today, however, the option of a delay will indeed give us a chance to get into the double digits by the start of school. In turn, I am calling a two-hour delay for tomorrow morning, January 31st, 2023. My hope is that the extra two hours will not only allow it to warm up a bit, but also give our custodial teams a chance to get the north sides of the buildings free from ice, AND an opportunity for the buildings to warm up a bit.   This is also a good thing for our students who ride buses to school.

ALL SCHOOLS WILL BE ON A TWO-HOUR DELAYED SCHEDULE.  Bus routes will be adjusted by two hours to accommodate the delayed start of school.

As a reminder, students in grades 6-12 will once again be assigned classwork by teachers through electronic means (E-Learning).   Any assigned classwork needs to be posted in Schoology by 8 AM tomorrow morning.   Students will be given an appropriate amount of time to complete.

If you, as a parent, decide to not send your child to school today, an excused absence will be given.  We respect your decision in this matter, but it is still imperative that you contact the school to notify them of your decision if you decide to keep your child home.

Sincerely,

Adam Hartman

Superintendent of Schools
