Dear Parents and Guardians,
This year's Growth and Development opt out forms are being sent home today, Monday, September 9th with your student. The opt out forms are grade specific and they detail the lessons that are to be taught in each grade level. You can find the specific Colorado State Standards on our Canon City Behavioral Health website at http://www.ccssel.org/ Lessons will be taught throughout the year in your child's Choices class during their life skills. This means your student may have growth and development in September or even in April, depending on when they are scheduled to have Choices. As always, we respect the parent's right to opt out their student. If you have any questions please call Mrs. Browning at 719-276-5746 or the district office.
