Dear Families,

We want to keep you informed of tomorrow's weather predictions, which indicate the potential for high winds reaching speeds of 50 mph or more in the afternoon. Given this forecast, we are prioritizing the safety of all students and taking proactive steps to ensure safe transportation home.

At this time, we plan to run our bus routes as normal tomorrow, October 29th. However, as we approach afternoon dismissal, we will check the wind speeds again at 2:15 p.m. If we confirm winds gusts 50 mph or higher are present, we will not be able to operate our buses for afternoon routes.

Should this be the case, we will promptly notify all affected families via SchoolStatus that bus riders will need to be picked up directly from their school sites. We understand that this may create added planning for some of our families, and we appreciate your understanding and partnership as we make decisions with student safety in mind.
