The TOP spent their first onsite learning day visiting the Museum of Colorado Prisons, the Canon City Public Library, and the Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center.
We learned about many facets of the local correctional industry; we made sure everyone had library cards for National Library Card month and explored the amazing services our public library provides to the community; and finally, we learned how to access our local history center, visited the archives, and learned about our rich mineral, paleontological and local history. It was a full day!
