Canon City Schools Special Education Department would like to welcome you to attend an information night with guest speaker, Jenni Guentcheva. She will be presenting her expertise on trauma informed care and assisting parents in better understanding their children's needs.

This presentation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 6:00 pm.  It will be held at Lincoln School of Science and Technology.

We will also be providing information on the district's next step to developing a Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) and how we can continue to collaborate efforts to share best practices, professional development for parents/staff, and knowledge of district and state policies.

Please RSVP to your child’s special education teacher or case manager by Tuesday, January 16.
