From getting a first-hand look at how law enforcement works to helping local businesses run their shops, high school students in Fremont County are getting real-world work experience around the community.
And it all starts with Cañon City High School's internship program.
The school hosted its second career fair Thursday with businesses, preschools, law enforcement officers and more local employers. CCHS officially launched the program last spring as it began transitioning to Pathways, a complete overhaul in curriculum.
