ALL SCHOOLS ON A 2 HOUR DELAY /// THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, 2025

NO SCHOOL FOR LINCOLN STUDENTS TODAY, THURSDAY 12/4/25:

Unfortunately, a gas line was hit this morning near the school. Repairs are taking place now, but we are unable to open school today. That said, school is canceled for Lincoln today, Thursday, 12/4/25. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing students tomorrow.

Dear Families, 

As you likely know, today’s snowfall is still lingering a bit.  That snowfall, coupled with forecasted morning temperatures in the teens, as well as icy road conditions, will make morning travel potentially dangerous for everyone.  In turn, we are calling a two-hour delay for tomorrow, Thursday, December 4th. We hope that the extra two hours will give county, city, and school district crews enough time to clear roads and passages to a safe level.  

ALL SCHOOLS WILL BE ON A TWO-HOUR DELAYED SCHEDULE.  Bus routes will be adjusted by two hours to accommodate the delayed start of school.  There will be NO A.M. Preschool at McKinley.

Normal attendance policies still apply.  Please call your child’s school if they are unable to attend.

If conditions dictate that we must actually cancel school, we will update that information by 7:00 AM.  Updates can be found on the district website or media outlets.  We will also continue to use email for communication whenever dealing with delays or closures.
