Resources to help with social/emotional issues of gifted students:
When Gifted Kids Don't Have All the Answers
By: Jim Delisle and Judy Galbraith
There are interesting chapters on identifying gifted kids, being a gifted teacher, self-esteem and self-image, group discussion of the Eight Great Grapes of the Gifted Kid, and more. I liked this book because it was informative and because it gave the perspective of the gifted teacher and gifted child in the classroom.
Raising Gifted Kids
By: Barbara Klein
This book has chapters on how to be a "good-enough" parent to a gifted child, developing your child's unique potential, family issues, and others. I liked this book because it had a lot of case studies dealing with gifted children and their families. It presented issues and attempted to find solutions.
